Who we are
Oasis Import is the trade name of Oasis Mediterranean Imports Inc. (in French, Oasis Importations Méditerranéennes inc.), a food importer based in the Greater Montréal area, Québec. For anything related to this policy, write to [email protected] or call +1 (438) 923-9303.
What we collect
This site has no user accounts, newsletter or advertising. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us:
- through the contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message;
- by email or phone, when you reach out to us directly.
How we use it
We use this information for one purpose: responding to you and managing the business relationship that may follow. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone beyond the services listed below.
Where it goes
- Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, the service that processes the contact form.
- The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and served through Cloudflare. As with almost every website, these services keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to the business relationship, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under Québec's privacy rules (Law 25), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the owner of Oasis Mediterranean Imports Inc., reachable at [email protected]. We answer these requests within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
